Secondary Education

Loxford Trust Schools are celebrating a year of fantastic GCSE results.

With 894 Year 11 students receiving results across 6 Trust Schools, our estimated average Progress 8 is around +0.17.

Between them, our Year 11 students achieved 301 of the new ‘super’ Grade 9s – equivalent to an A**.

Whereas national statistics show that students from disadvantaged backgrounds make negative progress on average at school, at Loxford School Trust they consistently achieve highly with their Progress 8 estimated at 0.01 this year.

45.61% of Year 11 students achieved the Ebacc. We are still waiting to find out what the national average was in 2019, but last year it was 24%. So, despite many of our academies being located in the most disadvantaged areas, our students are comfortably outperforming national averages.

Congratulations to every student – we are all thoroughly looking forward to seeing what you go on to achieve in your sixth form education and beyond.

At the Loxford School Trust, our students experience rich and varied lessons supported by the latest teaching techniques and equipment.

DEVELOPING A NEW GENERATION OF TEACHERS AND LEADERS

The Loxford School Trust opened in 2013.

It works with Primary and Secondary schools around London and Essex to deliver training and development for their teachers and leaders.

Already we have trained leaders, with consistently outstanding evaluations by participants.

As well as offering training for senior and middle leaders, we offer training for teachers looking to get from ‘Requiring Improvement’ to ‘Good’ or ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ and Initial Teacher Training for those entering the profession.

In developing these programmes, we set the bar high to ensure they are highly regarded by ambitious schools, teachers and leaders.  The training is highly practical and always led by experienced staff, all of whom have the credibility of having brought about rapid educational transformation in their schools.
